- There are two FREE ten week 2 hour FUNDAMENTAL ECONOMICS FOR A SUSTAINABLE AND PEACEFUL PLANET classes: The Monday EVENING class meets once per week for 10 weeks from January 18th, 2010 through Wednesday, March 22nd 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. The Wednesday AFTERNOON class meets once per week for 10 weeks from January 20th, 2010 through Wednesday, March 24th 2010 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 413 S. 10th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147.

- Aleksander Dovzhenko’s last silent film is generally regarded as his greatest masterpiece. EARTH was simultaneously lauded and derided by Soviet authorities due to its fairly ambiguous political message which was perhaps a salute to Alexander Kerensky who was often described as a follower of Henry George. EARTH was named as one of the top ten greatest films of all time by the International Film Critics Symposium.

- There are widespread signs of economic problems in most communities across the nation. Many families are in serious financial trouble. Millions of households have lost or stand to lose their residences to foreclosures. Household savings is at its lowest level since the Great Depression of the 1930s. At the same time, the U.S. government continues to spend far more revenue than raised from taxation. The nation faces a $10 trillion and growing national debt. This illustrated talk explains the origins of our financial crisis and offers author and historian Ed Dodson’s insights into our growing dilemma. Presented by Edward J.
